About Riki
Riki is a powerhouse mezzo-soprano, dynamic performer, and fearless storyteller whose voice defies boundaries. Known for her soulful blend of R&B, gospel, pop, rock, jazz, opera, and blues, Riki brings raw emotion, technical mastery, and spiritual depth to every stage she steps on.
From singing at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to performing with music legends like Renée Fleming, Erykah Badu, Paula Abdul, and Mystic Bowie, Riki’s career is as genre-defying as her sound. She’s graced stages as a solo artist and singer-songwriter, opened for Dionne Warwick and Paula Cole, and headlined the Black Opry Tour at celebrated venues including Higher Ground (VT), The Caramoor Festival (CT), and Lebanon Opera House.
A Stella Adler trained actress as well as a vocalist, Riki has brought beloved characters to life in musical theater, starring as Glinda in The Wiz (The Wall Street Theater), Cinderella in Cinderella (Brien McMahon Theater), and Papagena in The Magic Flute (Nyack College Opera).
She is a two-time competition winner, having taken top honors at both Connecticut’s Got Talent and Rock the Hall at Tarrytown Music Hall. Riki’s artistry has also shone through cabaret stages like Don’t Tell Mama and special performances like the New Orleans Healing Arts Symposium and a solo appearance at the Anika Noni Rose Ceremony in Hartford, CT.
This August, Riki will release her highly anticipated debut EP, Stardust, showcasing her original songwriting and signature sound. She is also embarking on a global tribute tour celebrating the iconic music of Whitney Houston and Tina Turner, bringing their timeless energy to a new generation of audiences.
